Adapt & Thrive Programme 
The Adapt and Thrive Programme aims to support organisations across the third sector to adapt to the challenges presented by COVID-19 and build back better to thrive in the future. The programme will help organisations to make the necessary changes to operate sustainably so they can continue to have a positive impact on people and communities. Adapt and Thrive offers tailored, specialist advice, as well as grants and loans. It is delivered in partnership by Firstport, Corra Foundation, SCVO, Just Enterprise, Community Enterprise and Social Investment Scotland.

Communities Recovery Fund
The Communities Recovery Fund aims to support charities, community groups, social enterprises and voluntary organisations in supporting people and communities through the shift from lockdown to recovery and tackle the challenges presented by COVID-19. The contribution from small community and mutual aid groups has been an essential part of how communities have responded to the pandemic, the connections and partnerships made will continue to play an important role in recovery. Partnership working is encouraged to enable ineligible organisations to access this funding where their activities meet the fund criteria. Applications from individual organisations and from partnerships such as Community Anchor Organisations will be accepted.

Youth Work Education Recovery Fund

Museum Recovery and Resilience Fund
Grants up to £732,320 are available to prevent independent museums in Scotland from running out of funds before the end of March 2021, and to support them to develop their resilience by adapting to changed circumstances, supporting their workforce and re-engaging with their communities.

Force for Change Programme
Grants of up to £20,000 to projects supporting Armed Forces communities to become less isolated and engage more in their local area. Targeted to support Armed Forces communities as they address the needs that have arisen as a result of the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 Response Fund
Grants are available to UK charities that demonstrate a strong focus on alleviating social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

LGBT+ Futures Fund
Grants of up to £5,000 or for up to £15,000 are available. Grants are awarded for immediate responses and support to organisations, individuals and communities in need as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, grants are for short-term work. Funding will be awarded to support LGBT+ projects to enable them to continue through theCovid-19 pandemic and which are meeting the immediate needs of LGBT+ people and communities adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to help grass-roots organisations in Scotland to support vulnerable individuals, families, and communities, including helping them to cope with the impacts of coronavirus/COVID-19.

Response, Recovery & Resilience Fund Response, Recovery & Resilience Fund is open for applications up to £5,000 the fund is now focussing on Recovery. As some lockdown restrictions are lifted this phase of funding will support organisations to continue their operations in the ‘new normal’, to re-establish or re-design their activities to comply with new regulations in addition to providing emergency support for those who need it most.

Morrisons Foundation - COVID-19 Homeless Support Fund

Robertson Trust new funds Guidance for thier new funds is available from September, meaning Scotland’s charities and community organisations will be able to access funding to support work which aims to alleviate the effects of poverty and trauma on individuals and communities across the country. National Lottery Community Fund Scotland  Improving Lives grants – Update
From October 1, 2020 the maximum available Improving Lives grant will be £200K over one to three years. It will be a single stage application.

  • They will only accept applications for more than £200k or more than 3 years until noon on Wed 30 September.

  • They are reaching out to organisations we think will be affected by this change, but please don’t hesitate to get in touch if they can help support someone you are working with

  • Before the end of 2020 they intend to adapt the priorities for Improving Lives to make it more relevant to the current situation.
