Scotland Cycle Repair Scheme

A new service funded by the Scottish Government and administered by Cycling UK that is helping to get thousands more people across Scotland on their bikes.

The Scotland Cycle Repair Scheme provides free cycle repairs and maintenance work, up to the value of £50 per person to those who would otherwise struggle to afford it.

The COVID-19 crisis has hit many people hard, so we know it can be difficult to pay for essential bike repairs right now. We’re therefore working with bike shops and other cycle repair providers to offer these free services right across Scotland.

The scheme is part of the Scottish Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to provide more options to the public for travel and transport. A total of 30,000 repairs will be available across Scotland.
