Policy Officer (Equalities and Tackling Poverty) - ELC

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Equalities and Tackling Poverty Officer within East Lothian Council. The role is based in the Policy & Partnerships Team, which leads on key strategic priorities such as tackling inequalities and poverty, community empowerment, and community planning. A key element of this role will leading the delivery of the East Lothian Poverty Plan.

You will be a strategic thinker who enjoys working in partnership and who is passionate about tackling poverty and inequality. We are open to considering applications for a secondment (up to two years) from a current post in the council or partner agency.
