Funded Laptops
Community Led Local Development (CLLD) aims to provide routes to better economic opportunities for people and business in East Lothian and Midlothian.
CLLD is delivered through the Tyne & Esk Local Action Group (LAG) which oversees funding for projects in order to achieve the objectives of their Community Led Vision. The LAG has decided that its wants to support local action to tackle the cost of living crisis. As part of this it wants to build the capacity of local third sector organisations to address poverty through investing in their technology.
Ten laptops are available for organisations operating within the LAG area, five for Midlothian and five for East Lothian. To be eligible you must be working within the Action Group area, which covers rural East Lothian and Midlothian excluding the urban areas of Musselburgh and Dalkeith but including Dalkeith Country Park.
The following terms and conditions apply:
You must be a third sector organisation and the laptop must be used to support work in the eligible areas of Mid and East Lothian
You must be able to pick the laptop up from either MVA’s offices (Midlothian applicants) or Volunteer Centre East Lothian’s offices (East Lothian applicants);
You must acknowledge the funding in your publicity;
We may require additional information from you as part of the application process;
We may require some monitoring information from you.
