Festive Greetings

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Volunteer Centre East Lothian.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our colleagues (old and new) for their support and understanding over the past months. I hope that you will have seen positive changes and we will continue to work hard for you and our communities in the coming year.

Covid-19 presented unimaginable issues in all aspects of our society but throughout the communities of East Lothian we have witnessed incredible acts of kindness and innovation. We have found a new awareness and have a fabulous base to build on. Thank you to all the volunteers, the friends and family, the neighbours, the services for making East Lothian a better place to live.

Please note that Volunteer Centre East Lothian will be closed for the Christmas Holidays from Monday 21 December to Monday 4 January inclusive. We will reopen on Tuesday 5 January. During this time you can still access the resources available on our website including searching for volunteering opportunities. You can also send us a message here and we will reply as soon as possible in the New Year.

The Community Pantry will remain open during the holidays at VCEL (9:30AM to 12pm) dates listed below;

December: 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th, 31st
January: 4th
