Stop It Now! Scotland is a child protection charity dedicated to preventing child sexual abuse. Since 2008 they have been providing confidential support services to individuals and families to protect the next child from harm and help prevent child sexual abuse. To enhance this work, Stop It Now Scotland have created an Upstream Prevention pack using the knowledge and experience they have gained over the past 12 years of working to keep children safe from harm. People First: People First has produced a range of easy read leaflets relating to different aspects of the route out of lockdown. EASY READ   LOCKDOWN CHANGES   FACTS

Gender Based Violence:  Disabled people and women with learning disabilities in particular are at a greater risk of experiencing Gender-based Violence. Public Health Scotland, SafeLives and partners have published easy read posters to highlight the risks of Gender-based Violence during the Covid-19 pandemic. Crowdfund Scotland: Crowdfunding is an alternative way of raising money for great ideas from the people around you - more information here: CROWDFUNDER  

Red Cross Hardship Fund: The Hardship Fund was created by the British Red Cross with support from our valued strategic partner Aviva to help those most financially impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. The fund aims to address acute hardship and suffering to the those who are vulnerable, providing a short-term financial safety net for people most impacted by the pandemic.  The Hardship Fund provides individuals or families with grants of £120 on a prepaid cash card. This can be individual one off grants, or multiple grants over a period of up to three months.  HARDSHIP FUND

12 Guitars: From July to September 2020, Glasgow-based social enterprise 12 Guitars will be giving away 12 guitars to 12 individuals or organisations in Scotland and beyond. Although our primary focus is on enabling young people to access guitars and tuition, we are broadening our focus for this campaign to cover all ages. The guitars will be a mix of types and styles and will include acoustic guitars, classical guitars, electric guitars and bass guitars. If you want to tell 12 Guitars about a deserving individual or organisation you would like to put forward, you can  send an email to  whatinspired@12guitars.org or use the contact form on the website www.12guitars.org

COVID-19 and the Right to Food Gap in Scotland: The current health crisis has exposed the many fault-lines in our food system. There is a significant support for ‘building back better’, but how can we ensure that recovery is founded in human rights, with social and environmental justice at its heart? RESEARCH & BLOGS

Scottish Government Survey: The Scottish Government is keen to develop understanding of how national measures and local effort are supporting those at risk due to Covid-19, to inform consideration of future support options. They are reaching out to local third sector partners to gather information about the kind of groups that they have been supporting and the types of support they have been providing during the crisis, as well as for their views on partnership working during this period and what they think future needs might be.The online survey is now open until 7 August. If you would have any questions, please email either Jeremy.Vincent@gov.scot or Rachel.Thwaites@gov.scotSURVEY
