Children' Strategic Partnership - Priorities Consulation

The  East Lothian Children’s Strategic Partnership (CSP) is consulting on its priorities for supporting children, young people and families in East Lothian as part of its work to develop a new service plan for 2020-2023. The CSP brings together key organisations involved in supporting children, young people and families in the county, provide leadership and direction for services and ensuring a multi-agency approach. Having considered information and views from a wide range of audiences including children , young people and families, the CSP has identified three key priorities for its work. These are:

  • Improving children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing

  • Supporting parenting and strengthening family resilience

  • Reducing inequalities for our children and young people.

The group is now seeking views from partner organisations and communities on these priorities. The three priorities build on work already underway and are interconnected and interdependent to ensure that resources and services make a real difference for families in East Lothian.

The survey is available to view online at https://eastlothianconsultations.co.uk/policy-partnerships/children-and-young-peoples-strategic-plan-prioriti/ until the 7th August. Survey feedback will then be considered and reflected in the draft Children’s Services and Young People’s Plan.
