Ukrainian Client Mental Health Event

Tuesday 03 October 2023, 1800-2000

Venue TBC

Over the last 18 months, Edinburgh has welcomed over 11,000 Ukrainian refugees seeking safe refuge.

In early 2023, Feniks Counselling released their ‘Mental health needs of Ukrainian refugees in Scotland’ report that has informed the cities mobilisation of mental health and wellbeing services for the Ukrainian community.  As we move out of ‘crisis’, we’re now working with partners to understand the long term needs of the community and co-design third sector service offers with service users.

Ukrainian clients are invited to join a round table event on 03rd October, 1800-2000, with the (city centre) venue to be confirmed in due course, to speak with a range of mental health and wellbeing partners about they types of activities that interest them.  This event will take the form of a partner marketplace, followed by a round table discussion and conducted in Ukrainian throughout the event.

We understand that childcare may be a barrier to attendance for parents, working with Mission of Innocents we are providing childcare and youth work activities alongside the main event.

To sign up, please register at Ukrainian client mental health event Tickets, Tue 3 Oct 2023 at 18:00 | Eventbrite.
