Trustees’ Week 2022 (7-11 November)

Trustees’ Week is a time for us to come together to celebrate the achievements of nearly 1 million trustees across the UK.

The theme this year is making a difference in changing times. As our external environment continues to change, we face new challenges. The positive impact you make as a trustee is invaluable to a sector that is now as important as ever to benefit society.

SCVO Trustees' Week events

Tuesday 8 November – Trustees and Fundraising

This webinar, with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, will look at the key role of trustees in fundraising, their legal and ethical responsibilities, and the rules and regulations they need to follow.

Wednesday 9 November – Lifecycle of a Charity: The Trustee Journey

This webinar, with the Cranfield Trust, will look at the key skills a trustee needs to have. We’ll consider what good governance looks like, and how to build a legacy as a trustee, and know when and how to leave.

Thursday 10 November – How to Survive and Thrive in Challenging Times

This webinar, with SCVO’s free legal and tax advice service partners, will give trustees the practical tools and information they need to survive and thrive during the cost-of-living crisis. Focussing on HR and employment, property, VAT and tax, and mergers and collaborations, we’ll also tell you where to access ongoing free support.
