It also helps you get ready for the introduction of child disability payment.

The course covers:

  • Who is entitled to disability living allowance

  • How to claim

  • The impact of stays in residential schools, care homes and hospitals

  • How DLA for a child can increase benefits for the family

  • Plans for introducing child disability payment in Scotland.

It is aimed at advisers with little or no knowledge of these benefits.
