Energy Usage Survey

Age Scotland is working in partnership with SGN (Scottish Gas Networks) and researchers at Scotinform to learn more about the impact of this dramatic rise in energy bills on people over the age of 50 in Scotland.

We want to hear about the decisions people are making about how to heat their homes as well as your experience of communicating with your energy supplier.

This survey covers a range of topics such as your energy usage and suppliers, awareness of schemes to increase your home’s energy efficiency, the type of home you live in, as well as more topical issues such as the OFGEM Price Cap and safety measures like whether you have interlinked fire and smoke alarms in your home.

The findings will give us a clearer insight into how older people are coping and help shape our policy. It will also provide evidence that we can present to national and local government and energy suppliers to ensure they recognise the needs of older people in their future energy plans.

Please do take the time to share your experience with us. We look forward to hearing from you.
