Employability National Discussions - Call for Interest

Providing people with the support that they need to move towards, into and to sustain employment is key to achieving our goal of a fairer, more equal and prosperous society. That is why employability support, and the role it can play in tackling poverty and eradicating structural barriers to participating in the labour market, is central to the Scottish Government’s National Strategy for Economic Transformation.

Scottish Government Employability Division will hold a number of  National Discussions over the summer months (Jul-Sep) to consider the progress made to date on our move to a place-based, person-centred model of employability support through No One Left Behind.  Partnership and improvement remain at the heart of No One Left Behind and we are committed to ensuring that our plans for further development of this approach are informed by stakeholder views and experience.

Currently assessing the level of interest to ensure the accommodation as many stakeholders as possible who wish to attend. If you are interested, please complete and submit the: No One Left Behind National Discussions Interest Form by 31 May 2023. In-person events in Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as an on-line event.  If demand exists for further events will be explored.

Event arrangements and agendas will be confirmed following receipt of notes of interest.
