Individual Advocacy Worker (Eating Disorders)
36.25 hours per week (full-time). Two part time positions would also be considered for the right candidates. Salary: £25,027 - £27,702 per annum. Location: Lothian-wide.

Individual Advocacy Worker (maternity cover and extension to 16/17 year old people)
36.25 hours per week (two part time roles would be considered for the right applicants). Starting salary: £25,027 per annum FTE. Location: East Lothian and Midlothian with occasional work in Edinburgh.
This fixed term post is a great opportunity to join CAPS’ friendly, supportive Individual Advocacy team to provide individual advocacy to adults with mental health issues in East Lothian and Midlothian. CAPS also provides advocacy to people who use drugs or alcohol in these areas. This post will specialise in extending both these services to a lower age range of 16 and 17 year olds.

Children and Young People’s Individual Advocacy Team Leader
32 hours a week (worked over 5 days). Salary: £28,550 - £31,096 per annum FTE. Starting salary £25,203 pro rata. Location: Musselburgh, however some home working will be permitted.

Collective Advocacy Worker – mental health experience led projects
28 hours per week. Salary: £25,027 - £27,702 per annum FTE. Starting salary 19,331 pro rata. Location: Lothian.
CAPS has a substantial new role for a Collective Advocacy worker to facilitate two established collective advocacy projects, including groups for people with experiences of Eating Disorders and for people with experiences of Trauma. Our role is to ensure people’s voices are heard by decision-makers and assist people to draw on their experiences to bring about change, such as improving mental health services.
