Briefing on Disclosure Scheme for Domestic abuse Scotland (DS DAS)

What is this training?

This one-hour briefing will give an introduction to the Disclosure Scheme Domestic Abuse Scotland (DS DAS) also knows as Claire’s Law.

Who is this learning for?

This session is open to all agencies that work with or support potential survivors of Domestic Abuse in East Lothian and Midlothian.

What are the learning outcomes?

Participants will have an understanding of:

·       The history of DS DAS (Claire's Law) and how it came about

·       The DS DAS process from start to finish

·       What you can do to help ie when and how to submit an application

How will the training be delivered?

The briefing will be delivered by Police Scotland on MS Teams.
